Learning Differences Aotearoa

Learning Differences Aotearoa Trust’s mission is to provide a support structure and network across Aotearoa New Zealand for children and adults with learning differences.

We are committed to assisting the growth and development of people regardless of what they bring to learning by providing the necessary tools and strategies to meet their own personal learning needs. We aim to promote acceptance and understanding of learning differences for the children and adults of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our Trust provides professional development workshops to schools, other educational organisations and workplaces. We have an Adult Dyslexia Support Group who meet once a month, and we provide support for parents of children with learning differences through Dyslexia Support South. We run Growing Stars, which is a workshop for children, to help them manage and understand the emotional impact of having a learning difficulty, coming from a learning difference.

We support the Access Matters campaign because we believe learning should have no barriers.

Committed to assisting growth and development of people regardless of what they bring to learning.
