Statement of support and commitment

We are proud to be a part of Access Matters Aotearoa.

Access Matters Aotearoa proposes that the New Zealand Government introduce legislation (The Accessibility for New Zealanders Act), to ensure people with visible and invisible disabilities, whether temporary or permanent, or with other access needs, can fully participate in their communities and ensure the New Zealand economy and society can benefit from this.

As campaign partners we have the ability to shine a light on the barriers that impact those that we represent. It is critical that all those that are impacted by barriers have a voice and are heard as we move forward to create an accessible and inclusive country where people with disabilities or access needs can thrive as citizens and community members.
