Changing Places NZ joins the growing number of organisations supporting the Access Alliance.

The Access Alliance is pleased to welcome Changing Places NZ as a new Supporting Organisation.  In becoming part of our group of Supporting Organisations, Changing Places NZ joins the call for robust and enforceable accessibility legislation in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Changing Places NZ are doing amazing work in the community.  They specialise in providing accessible public bathroom facilities including all the equipment and space needed for people with access needs to take care of their basic hygiene requirements.  This also gives comfort and dignity to people with access needs in knowing that these services are available when they're out in the community: shopping, running errands, or having a coffee with friends.

Changing Places NZ's contributions to accessibility were recognised this past February at the Access Alliance People's Choice Accessibility Awards for Business, where they were nominated in two categories.

We look forward to working with Changing Places NZ and our other Supporting Organisations to make sure that New Zealand is inclusive and equitable for all through the introduction of accessibility legislation.
