Dementia New Zealand

Dementia New Zealand

Dementia New Zealand is the national body for six service delivery organisations that cover 70% of New Zealand's population.

We support the delivery of quality community dementia services, raise awareness, and build capability throughout our sector.

We support the Access Matters campaign in the call for robust and enforceable accessibility legislation in New Zealand.

We believe all New Zealanders should be able to fully participate, engage with, work for, and use the services of our organisations irrespective of any access needs. We acknowledge that we also need to engage with people with disabilities to make our organisations and services accessible. We commit to initiating or continuing this conversation.

Together, we can create an accessible and inclusive country where people with disabilities or access needs can thrive as citizens and community members.

We support the delivery of quality community dementia services, raise awareness, and build capability throughout our sector.
